Operating tables. Hinchingbrooke NHS Trust is looking to procure a number of Day Surgery trolleys to be used in theatres during a variety of procedures. These will be across a range of clinical specialities from orthopaedic, scoping, gynaecological and surgical. Immediately following these procedures the trolley will be in used for patient recovery. To aid the provision of these procedures each trolley must be capable of accepting a range of accessories to aid patient positioning during the procedure.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:
Hinchingbrooke NHS Trust is looking to procure a number of Day Surgery trolleys to be used in theatres during a variety of procedures. These will be across a range of clinical specialities from orthopaedic, scoping, gynaecological and surgical. Immediately following these procedures the trolley will be in used for patient recovery. To aid the provision of these procedures each trolley must be capable of accepting a range of accessories to aid patient positioning during the procedure.
Potential suppliers will be expected to offer a range of additional post purchase services in relation to:
On- site installation
Staff training
Removal and disposal off site of waste packaging material
Service & Maintenance
and
Re-upholstery facilities
All trolleys offered must be CE marked and meet the Trusts┐ requirements in relation to Infection Control, Manual Handling and Fire Safety.
To support the procurement potential suppliers will be required to bring onto Trust premises (at their own cost) a range of demonstration models to allow for an evaluation to be undertaken by a designated group of end users. The evaluation criteria to be adopted and the date and venue for this exercise will be issued within the Tender Documents.
